I am based in London, but will happily travel across the UK for your celebration or ceremony. My name is Poppy, and I live Walthamstow, London with my amazing family. I am a friendly and kind celebrant who loves poetry, children's books and exploring the city. There is nothing better than a cup of tea and making connections with amazing people. I adore children and babies, and I am at my happiest when around little humans.
I am a mum of three wonderful children, cheeky Felix who is four, Carys our smiley one year old, and Daphne who was sadly stillborn three years ago. They are the lights of my life and I couldn’t be prouder to be their mum.
I am a certified celebrant with qualifications in naming and funeral ceremonies. I also hold level 2 qualifications in End of Life Care and Mental Health First Aid. I started my working life as a stage manager in theatre, working with some amazing companies and venues across the country, before branching out into children's theatre, circus, music and higher education. I've now found my calling as a celebrant, and I love my job and the wonderful people I get to meet along the way.
